Poker pro player Jennifer Harman shares a tiny yet helpful tip: How to tell weather a player is bluffing according to where he puts his bet. Very short, and straight to the point.
Although it seems to me that most players I play with throw most of their bets instead of keeping it close. Maybe it means something and maybe not. As far as I can tell it could be a product of physical reasons instead of psychological, for example if a player is sitting at a table where the distance from the center of the table is more then 1 meter, it makes a lot more sense to throw the chips to the center instead of keeping it close, whereas in a smaller table it makes a lot less difference where he puts his bet(physically).
